Black Female Founders (#BFF) is an organization whose mission is to provide awareness, support, resources and a platform for Black female entrepreneurs. Black female founders receive almost zero percent of funding for their startups compared to their Black, White and Asian male counterparts.
#BFF seeks to level the playing field by offering Black female entrepreneurs the information and resources they need to succeed such as networking, business mentoring and access to Venture Capitalists (VCs), Angel Investors and other forms of funding.
We organize hands-on workshops led by subject matter experts on perfecting your pitch, branding, securing funding, hiring tech talent and more.
We plan events where BFFs can meet, connect and network with other founders, executives, entrepreneurs, investors and like-minded people.
We provide a platform for the issues facing Black female entrepreneurs and work with our members, stakeholders and industry partners to solve them.
We help provide resources and introductions to Venture Capitalists and Angel investors so Black female founders can secure much needed funding.
As a Black Female Founders (#BFF) member, you’ll be connected to a diverse and vibrant community of founders, technologists and investors. In addition, you get first-access to workshops and panels that cover important topics such as marketing, hiring, finding co-founders, perfecting your pitch, funding and other critical needs for aspiring entrepreneurs.
