What Is Black Female Founders?
Black Female Founders (#BFF) is a global membership organization, community, and movement for women-led tech ventures and female tech leaders throughout the Black Diaspora.
Our programs advance women from aspiration to investment, in an effort to increase diversity and inclusion in the global innovation ecosystem. We work with companies that are tech-focused or enabled from idea conception to business implementation to investment.
Most incubators and accelerators lack diversity, cultural competency, and entrepreneurial experience. Comparable diversity led programs do not offer a pipeline to investment; rather they focus on networking and business remediation. Investment firms are unable to support the early stage financing needs of #BFFs due to high transaction costs and limited deal flow.
